Terms of service

Keydexa is operated by an individual trader established in Latvia. Contact: support@keydexa.com. In these terms "we" means that trader and "you" means the person buying.

We are not a company. You are contracting with an individual, and that is stated here plainly rather than left to be discovered.

You are buying an activation key or download that grants rights in software published by someone else. You are not buying the software itself, and we are neither its publisher nor an agent of the publisher. Your use of the software is governed by that publisher's own licence, not by this agreement.

All product names and logos belong to their respective owners. Their appearance here identifies what a key unlocks and implies no endorsement, partnership or authorisation.

We buy on the secondary market: surplus inventory, regional distribution and overstock, rather than directly from publishers. This is what makes the prices possible, and it is the same market the large key retailers buy on.

It carries a risk we would rather state than hide. A publisher can withdraw a key it decides was distributed outside its own terms, and that can happen after activation. It is uncommon. If it happens to something you bought from us, our refund policy covers you with no time limit.

As a consumer buying at a distance you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase without giving a reason.

Digital content delivered immediately is the exception. Before paying you are asked to tick a box confirming two things: that you want the key delivered straight away, and that you understand doing so ends your right to withdraw. Both are required, the box is never pre-ticked, and we record the moment you tick it.

If you do not tick it, we cannot release a key — so there is no path through this store where you lose that right without saying so first. Waiving it does not affect your rights if a key turns out to be faulty; those cannot be waived and are set out in the refund policy.

An order is complete when our payment provider confirms payment. Keys appear on your receipt page and are emailed to you, normally within seconds. Items marked as issued by hand are fulfilled within one minute.

Prices are shown in US dollars and include any VAT that applies to your purchase. [Confirm VAT treatment and OSS registration with an accountant].

Stock figures are live at the time they are displayed and can change while you are checking out. If a product sells out before your payment confirms, we refund you in full.

Some licences only activate in certain countries. Every listing states its region before you buy. Buying a region-locked key and then trying to activate it elsewhere — including through a VPN — breaches the publisher's terms, risks your account with them, and is not covered by our refund policy.

• Give an email address you can actually receive mail at. It is how your key reaches you.
• Keep your keys private. A key that has been shared or published cannot be replaced.
• Do not resell keys bought here unless the publisher's licence permits it.
• Do not use the store to launder payments or test stolen cards.

An account is optional; you may buy as a guest. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your password to yourself. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access.

We try to keep the store running continuously but do not promise uninterrupted service, and we may withdraw any product from sale at any time. Orders already paid for are honoured regardless.

Our liability for a claim connected to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, except where the law does not allow such a limit — which includes death or personal injury caused by negligence, and our own intent or gross negligence. Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

These terms are governed by the law of Latvia. As a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in your own country's courts.

If we cannot resolve something between us, you can escalate to Patērētāju tiesību aizsardzības centrs (PTAC), or use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published here on the day you ordered, and the date at the top shows when this text last changed.
